SATELLITE 2014 has officially contracted with the vendors listed below to offer you show services at a discounted price. These companies are the only Official Approved Contractors for SATELLITE. If another company reaches out to you offering any of these services, they are not endorsed by or affiliated with SATELLITE and entering into any contracts or financial obligations could have costly consequences.

Washington D.C. Union Regulations
The installation and dismantling of prefabricated displays comes under the jurisdiction of the carpenters’ union. However, two (2) full-time exhibiting company employees may work without Carpenter Labor for one (1) hour on the installation (move-in) and one (1) hour on the dismantle (move-out) without union labor on booths that are larger than 10’ x 10’. Exhibitors may work in booths 10’ x 10’ or smaller without the use of union labor. Exhibitors are not permitted to use POWER TOOLS (electric drills, power saws, etc.) on booths of any size. Manual tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, ratchets, pry bars, etc. are allowable for exhibitor use within size and time limitations.
One individual from each exhibiting company is permitted one trip to hand-carry items into the exhibit facility. The exhibitor use of dollies, hotel baggage carts, flat trucks and other mechanical equipment, is not permitted.
Hotel Reservations
Hotel reservations for the SATELLITE 2014 Conference and Exhibition must be booked directly through the Official Housing Bureau, onPeak. All of the hotels are within walking distance to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
In order to qualify for the discounted SATELLITE 2014 rates, reservations must be made by February 17, 2014. All names and credit card information for room blocks are also due on February 6, 2014.
Taxes:
The hotel rates listed online do not include taxes. The D.C. sales tax is currently 14.5% and is subject to change.
Exhibitor Services Kit
The Exhibitor Services Kit is now available online. The advance order deadline is Friday, February 14, 2014. Save money by ordering services in advance, after the advance order discount the rates will increase by 30% or more.
